This is my journal of places, people and passions I experience during my drive in the 2004 Dodge Intrepid from New Hamshire to Arizona.

One Good Reason to Leave New Enland

As I'm warm and comfortable in my home, there are over 1.3 million homes and businesses from Pennsylvania to Maine plunged into the dark — and cold — by a storm that coated trees and wires with ice Thursday night into Friday. Most of the outages were in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and New York. About 880,000 remained without power Saturday afternoon.

My family guests are Don & Sharon for a couple of nights, as their home in Hampstead is only 48 degrees inside and still no power or heat. Troopers that they are - I just dropped them off at the Ice Areana for a Hockey Game - Gotta Love New Englanders!!

Thinking Warm Thoughts....
