Honky Tonk kind of town....

Great driving from Asheville to Nashville - James Patterson book on tape sure makes the time fly by!

Staying at a Wonderful Condo - The Bristol on Broadway. Sat out on the patio when I arrived and watched the construction boys building a parking garage and condo next door. So neat for me to see the actual work being done - as I only usually get to look at plans on paper or a computer screen.

Once Karen got here, we headed out for drinks and apps - found The Red Door Cafe just down the street and begun an evening of conversation, cocktails in a lively atmosphere. Robin recommended South Street Original Crab Shack and Authentic Dive Bar where we had delicious gulf coast oysters.

(Caution - Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages causes Pregnancy) LMAO

Next door was Bound'ry - upscale urban lounge and Kelly was THE best server - recommending the best honky tonk bars for tomorrow night. I got mistaken for a local by a hot boy - that's always good for the ego.

Back to the condo not realizing its Central time - so we actually jumped in bed just before midnight!! Thank god it was not a full blown construction day this AM (Sat) otherwise no one would have had a great night sleep.

Woke up to BEAUTIFUL Sunshine and almost 70 degrees - Welcome change from New England.

Going to walk around the neighboor to explore today and see what kind of "mischief" we can discover......
